AimBrain Announces A New Financial Services Client

tldr: aimbrain secures voleo as first north american client | voleo enables democratic, group-based investments | passwords will be swapped for facial authentication

AimBrain, the biometric start-up poised to revolutionise mobile banking authentication experience, announces Voleo as their latest financial services client and first client in North America. Voleo provides a new, more convenient, and engaging way to invest — together. On teams with family, friends or colleagues, Voleo will enable users to democratically manage group portfolios, proposing, voting and executing trades through its mobile app. Part of this vision is using AimBrain’s Biometric Authentication Platform to provide an easy to use but extremely secure user experience.

“AimBrain is at the forefront of mobile biometric security” says Thomas Beattie, CEO of Voleo. “We are delighted to be the first company in North America to be leveraging their technology to secure our users’ accounts.”

A good example of how this deal will impact Voleo users is when they carry out sensitive tasks such as making deposits or withdrawals. The facial authentication will be used in place of passwords, which means the users will have a seamless, secure user experience on the Voleo platform. “Voleo is a great and important addition to the AimBrain client base” said AimBrain’s Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Reynolds. “Not only do they have great technology and a unique platform, but this launches us in North America – a key and strategically important market for us. We are very much looking forward to being part of their journey.”
