  • Enterprise Sales Lead / Business Development Lead

    AimBrain reduces fraud while improving user experience. We do this by delivering a BIDaaS (Biometric Identity as-a-Service) platform. Our approach to BIDaaS uniquely combines voice, facial and behavioural biometrics with cloud-based authentication to provide a risk-based score of an identity.

    We have the industry’s only cloud-based, multi-module identity authentication solution that combines both passive and active biometrics, using voice, facial and behavioural. Our technology is underpinned by a proprietary deep learning engine, designed to build an increasingly accurate profile of a user over time. We are genuinely pushing research boundaries in the field of biometrics.

    Our customers can design a step-up approach to authorisation, escalating through our biometric authentication modules if an initial measurement falls below its acceptance threshold, and equally can step-down where the trust level is high, for an enhanced user experience.

    We are an ambitious company in a high growth phase, taking financial security to another level. We’ve got the tech, and now we are driving our sales. We’ve raised over £4M of funding from the world’s top investors and we are now looking for an incredible Enterprise Sales Business Developer to help us build the future.

    For the right person, success in this role could see you a leading a team. In the meantime, we are looking for the following:

    Approach / style

    • Educational sales process that adapts and positions itself based on what we hear from the market. The goal is to disqualify as fast as possible;
    • Business Development / Customer discovery focused sales process that listens to the problem and changes the approach based on feedback. That might include changing market, user-cases, customers or the product;
    • KPI-based progress tracking.

    Personal traits

    • Early sales / founder-like personality traits of empathy, concern for customers, openness to feedback (market as well as other company stakeholders);
    • Likes educating and being helpful to the customer – knows that often the first step is to explain WHY they need biometrics, while at the same time trying to disqualify the account if there is no strong problem that we would solve;
    • Open to involving the founders in sales process, using founders as additional resources, but fundamentally you will drive the deals – via an existing pipeline initially, and by building your own;
    • Ability to pivot your approach and / or markets quickly;
    • Ability / experience of building scalable sales process/engine for the future combining inbound and outbound.

    Other

    • A track record of selling to startups, challenger banks and early adopters;
    • A network that includes more than just financial institutions;
    • Experience in selling to markets without prior personal network;
    • Understanding of technology and its benefits within various customer groups;
    • Strong relationship management skills, leadership and team development;
    • Experience in leading a sales team;
    • Based in UK, preferably London or just outside.

    What you will get in return:

    • Salary range £80k – £120k;
    • Commission 3% – 12%;
    • Unlimited holiday + extremely flexible schedule – we do not micromanage and only care about delivering progress;
    • Massive opportunity to manage your own career growth – take yourself as far as you can – a job spec won’t limit you here;
    • Opportunity to drive company direction – you will be considered as a foundational team member;
    • Clear, strong, values-based culture – ‘no bullsh*t’, ‘integrity’, ‘team’, ‘getting it done’, ‘have fun’;
    • Brilliant Canary Wharf location – surrounded by great bars, cafes, restaurants and potential customers.

    If having real purpose, autonomy in how you work and being able to master your skills sounds great – then apply now.
